The question most people ask is: how much does it cost to have my fantasy photo produced?

If you can provide your own photos, this part is free.

 

If HL-Studio takes your photos for you, it is free, apart from extraneous costs, e.g. my travel, a makeup artist, etc which are the client's responsibility.

 

If another professional photographer takes the photos, they will charge their usual fee.

 

Our main graphic designer normally charges €39.50 for each image he produces for his standard work. If it is more than this, we will let you know in advance. Some specific work is done by another graphic designer and we will let you know in advance if his higher fee applies.

 

The price of finished photos will vary depending on the type of printing and size, and will also vary depending on the country in which they are printed. Posters are the least expensive to produce and ship, and ready-to-frame canvas prints are the most expensive to produce, while acrylic prints are the most expense to ship because of their weight.

 

Shipping costs vary based on size, weight, sender address, and shipping address. If there is a risk of import duties, you will be notified in advance.

 

Can I have a celebrity in the photo with me?

 

No, unless the celebrity gives permission in advance. (There may be a fee to obtain permission.)

 

Can I have friends or other family members in the finished photo with me?

Yes, if we have individual photos of those other people and their written permission.

 

Can I have an animal in the photo with me?

 

Yes. If it is a specific animal we will need separate photos of the animal and descriptive information.

 

Can I be depicted doing something dangerous?

 

Yes, if you provide written and signed permission in advance.

 

Can I be depicted doing something illegal?

 

What is legal in some countries and at some times in the past may be illegal in other countries. Each request will be reviewed in case of doubt by a lawyer and a fee may be charged for the lawyer's services.

 

Can I have a boudoir, erotic or nude photo?

 

Yes, subject to legal restrictions, we will produce boudoir, erotic or artistic nude images, (but not high-end adult content), of subjects 18 years of age* or older, provided that that person provides written permission in advance. (* In some countries and some states in the US, the age limit is higher, and in some countries we are not allowed to provide such images.)

 

If I change my mind after seeing the artist's creation, can I get a refund?

 

There are no refunds for the artist's work after he begins his work, but if you decide not to purchase the finished prints after seeing a low-resolution watermarked image of his work, there will be no additional charge.

 

Once the finished prints are ordered, no refunds are available, except under standard EU consumer protection legislation as I am based in France.
